Create wireless network from wireless card.?

Hi, Is it possible for me to make a wireless network from my laptop so my phone can connect? It doesn't wnat to connect to the main WIFI as my phone won't use WPA. So is it possible to make a connection from my laptop that uses the main WIFI?
