How do I get a job as a Gopher for a Mining or Oil Exploration company?

Hi all! I am very keen on taking on some well paid work in Canada. I have heard from people who have been field istants for mineral exploration where basically they are a gopher. The pay was excellent and no skills are required but you will end up working in the middle of nowhere...which is fine with me. Ive heard Alberta is the place to be but I cant find any information on such jobs. Anyone can help? I would fly up there tomorrow if necesssary!
