How do I get candle wax out of carpet/off the wall?

put a towel over the wax on the carpet. hold an iron (you know, like for ironing clothes), just over the towel (dont let it touch the towel!!!) and steam the was into the towel. move the towel until the wax is gone. good luck! :)
