My yahoo is still sleepin' i cant sign in. it wont go through. what should i do?

when i click the grey smiley face my yahoo messanger pops up then u have to put ur sn 'n pswd. which i did but i can't log in. it will show the the smiley face is still sleepin.. i've been tryin' to do d same thing over 'n over but it jst wont work.. i need help on dis one... i have vista i dnt knw if that helps to answer my question. i can only sign- in my yahoo vista which i dnt really like coz i can't use my webcam =)
