Save and play dvds on computer?

i just downloaded the trial version of dvd fab 6 , and can save dvds to the computer, btu i cannot play them, does anyone know what it is that i need to do, or what i need to have , all i am trying to acomplish is putting the 200+ dvds i own on the computer for viewing, and i am having no luck thanks, btw its a vista 32bit media center
